Evolution of Species 2 is an incredible life and evolution simulator that takes the premise of the brilliant Spore and successfully brings it to smartphones and tablets. Putting yourself in the shoes of a multicellular organism that has just appeared in the primordial soup, your goal in Evolution of Species 2 is to try to outlive the rest of the creatures, feed yourself and get enough genetic charge to evolve and acquire new skills.

Playing Evolution of Species 2 is very simple, and anyone who was able to enjoy the original Spore will find that the mechanics of this game are practically identical to those of the original: you can move around the setting by tapping your finger on any part of the screen and dragging it in whichever direction you want. Depending on whether you become a carnivorous, herbivorous or omnivorous creature, you'll have to feed either on plants or other organisms and, using the genetic points given to you, you'll have to evolve and acquire new and better body parts.

Once you've completed this first phase of your life, you'll come out of the water, where you'll be able to edit your creature and adapt it to the planet. The complexity of the relationships with other factions or beings will increase, although your ultimate goal stays the same: to become the most evolved and advanced civilization or to destroy any species that crosses your path.
